Intern – Civil Engineer
Location: West Bend, WI — On-Site
Position Summary
Parish Survey & Engineering is looking for an enthusiastic civil engineering student to join our team! This position will be 70/30 of hands-on field work/surveying and engineering support duties in the office.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the field with topographic surveys, project staking, and as-built surveys.
- Assist with plan preparation, permitting, reports, etc.
- Perform basic construction inspection.
- Perform routine and entry-level technical engineering work
- Assist with CAD work and project estimations.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering at an accredited University.
Strong oral and written communication skills - Physically able to perform work in the field
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities - Experience with Civil 3D and Microsoft Office preferred.
- Legally authorized to work permanently (i.e. without time limitations, without restrictions or
without need for work sponsorship) in the country where this position is located
